What the Stars and Sky Tell Me About Life

In Science-C, we were taught that stars are self-luminous gaseous spheroidal celestial bodies of great mass, which produces energy by means of nuclear fusion reactions. And that there are billions of millions of stars that light up space. Some would even consider them as a way to know one’s life and future.

For me, I do believe in science that a star is a ball of gas. However, sometimes, I would say that they tell something about my life and that they are sent by God to guide me.

No two stars have exactly the same composition. It tells that each one of us is unique. Like twins, they may be identical but they are not precisely the same.

Stars differ in brightness. Some people may become rich or poor, famous or unpopular, etc. This suggests us that if we only work hard and continue believing in ourselves, we can be able to reach the peak of our dream and even become the brightest ever. We may not know that some of us will become politicians, actors and actresses, priests and nuns, or will just live life simply and peacefully.

Stars vary in their sizes. There are some, which are big; others are small, tall or short, thin or fat. Even if we differ in sizes, all of us are still people. In addition, we have different mission here on earth. But we have the same goal, to give service to the people. In fact, there are small people who excel like President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. And also big people who excel in other fields like basketball.

Stars have different colors. All of us have different feelings and attitudes. Some may be good or bad, happy or sad, humble or proud. It suggests that we must learn to accept each one of us no matter how cruel a person is. Moreover, we should try to change our negative attitudes so others will also learn to accept us for what we are.

New stars are formed and old stars die out. It let us know us that our life is just too short. We were born in this world, which begins the journey of our life here. If we enjoy, we also face challenges and trials that made us stronger. And as time flies, our life starts to fade and become weak. When time comes that our life will end, we must be prepared to leave this world and go back to the peaceful and everlasting love of our creator.

We have already enumerated some characteristics of stars and their meanings in life. How about the sky? Does it suggest something about life and its significance too?

Like the stars, the sky also has something to tell about life. Sometimes it is blue and sometimes grayish-black. It means that life has its own happiness and its sorrow. The sky also brings rain, which means that crying relief us from the sorrow we are carrying.

Both the stars and the skies convey something about life. There is only one thing which they want to inform: “Life Is Too Short So Live Life To The Fullest”
